This week saw the amount of waste saved from landfill by Freeuse LeicesterShire exceed 100 tonnes!
The Freeuse website, iPhone and Android app have all been developed by Cuttlefish and we're thrilled to see the project doing so well and so many people doing their bit to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Congratulations to the Leicestershire Waste Partnership and especially to all the Freeusers who've made this project a success so far - roll on the next 100 tonnes!
If you live in Leicestershire and haven't already signed up you should do so today to give your unwanted items a new home and snap up something you need for free.

Cuttlefish have been working on a new project for the Leicestershire Waste Partnership with long term clients Leicestershire County Council & North West Leicestershire District Council.
Freeuse Leicestershire is an easy way to give old items a new life, either by giving away items, or taking them. The website offers a simple way for residents in the Leicestershire area to advertise items they no longer want, or pick up items they need, all items are free and the site makes it easy for givers and takers to use.
We welcome all of our friends and clients to start using the Freeuse website to help improve the environment by reusing unwanted items.

No sooner had Cuttlefish revamped the young person's web site it wins a major national award! Children and Young People Now has given The Jitty the 'Best interactive media created by young people, for young people' award in their Positive Images Awards.
With more than 200,000 hits a month and a tagline urging young people "Don't just sit and listen, SHOUT!", The Jitty's engaging website won over the judges to take the top prize.
This is well-deserved recognition for all the hard work put in to the site by Jitty members, so well done. You can visit the new Jitty site at www.thejitty.com.
