Cuttlefish have implemented two online eLearning programmes for Southwark Council.
The first, an induction programme to be taken by new employees before commencing work, is a highly interactive site containing video and document-based materials. It includes assessments consisting of multiple-choice questions which the employee must answer to be able to complete the programme. Every element of the programme is automatically "tracked", to ensure that all information has been read by the employee, and so that administrators can schedule further training for them based on their assessment scores.
The second is a community safety awareness site. Similarly to the induction programme this contains many interactive elements including video, documents, and quizzes. The site still tracks a users progress through the pages so that they are aware of how far through the programme they are, though the assessment element here is purely informal.
