Mapping Tool
We created an interactive map with filterable listing so that website visitors can find local services quickly and easily.
Site admins have the ability to manage all their service providers, including contact details and their support categories. Each provider is then plotted onto a map for users to sort by distance to themselves for speedy help and advice.
Feedback & Review Service
An important feature of this website was to provide the ability for users to share their experience of health and wellbeing services across Oxfordshire. These establishments are then also provided with a right to reply.
We built a submission form where users can search for their chosen hospital, GP practice, dentist, pharmacy etc and then comment their review and provide a star score. Responses are then presented to the service provider who can submit a public response.
Website Design
As part of the Healthwatch Oxfordshire redesign, we used their strong brand guidelines to create a clear visual identity for the website. We chose Indigo Dye as the primary colour to create a calm and clinical aesthetic to accentuate the organisations work in the health and wellness sector.
With a clear understanding that our target audience may include individuals with health concerns affecting their use of the website, we ensured that accessibility was top on our list to address. We incorporated larger, easy to read font sizes throughout the design and made sure that the site was legible to screen readers and other accessibility browser tools. This thoughtful adjustment helps users comfortably engage with all the information provided, supporting an inclusive and user-friendly experience.
