About Cuttlefish
Cuttlefish was founded in 2000 and primarily focused on art and music websites which was an interest for the then Director Sean Clark. Over time, Cuttlefish has changed management, diversified its client base and found its place in providing and developing bespoke websites and software. Our customers now range from large PLCs, universities and councils through to local businesses and community groups.
Today our team has grown and brings together creative, like-minded individuals who all have a passion for design, development and all things tech.
Our mission is to provide professional and highly creative web, app and design services. We will provide accessible technology to give everyone the ability to create and share their information without barriers.

Meet the Team
Jon Ferguson
Director / Developer
Jon leads on our web development and has provided the technical support for our council software for over six years.
His knowledge of council website requirements is second to none building 28 bespoke platforms for government funded projects, as well as having a Father and Auntie who are Parish Councillors too!
Outside of work he likes to play hockey and travel in his campervan.
Kim Lillie
Director / Operations
Kim manages our team, new projects and oversees customer support.
She previously worked in the local authority sector with nine years at Leicestershire County Council within the Adult and Social Care Dept, two years at Charnwood Borough Council in the Health and Wellbeing Services Dept, and one year as a link officer with Harborough District Council.
Outside of work she has a particular interest in classic cars and weekend breaks to historical locations.
Jude Venn
Director / Infrastructure
Jude leads on our security and infrastructure developments.
He has been with Cuttlefish almost since it's creation and has managed our district and borough council clients for over a decade. Implementing bespoke features such as integrations with planning application systems and dustbin collection tools.
Outside of work he likes to play guitar and spend time with his children.
Luke Riozzi
Director / Developer
Luke leads on our app development and bespoke software builds.
He has created a number of systems from scratch including eLearning and assessment platforms that are used across Leicestershire County Council and Loughborough University.
Outside of work he likes to cook and takes part in historical reenactments.
JD Doughty
Developer
JD is a frontend developer and manages our accessibility and responsive requirements.
He ensures that all our websites are user friendly, mobile responsive and adhering to the latest guidelines.
Outside of work he is a DJ and fashion enthusiast.
Mark Mansour
Developer
Mark is a backend and app developer who primarily works on our university research projects.
His methodical approach to building native apps from scratch ensures that our university clients receive the high quality data required for their research. A particular highlight was re-working fitbit data to create activity insights for rheumatoid arthritis patients undergoing a study.
Outside of work he takes part in mixed martial arts and playing football.
Owen Pawlak
Digital Designer
Owen delivers on all digital design requirements, whether that be for websites, apps or materials to be printed.
He works on making projects visually appealing whilst also suiting the target market.
Outside of work he enjoys visiting galleries and riding his motorcycle
Lena Stroinska
Business Support Admin
Lena provides support in the delivery of projects as well as technical support to our clients.
Outside of work she enjoys mountain biking, climbing and painting.
Joe Prusinski
Finance
Joe is our bookkeeper and responsible for overseeing our financial management.
He is familiar with all the 'red tape' and funding procedures that councils and universities have to work within to ensure we adhere to requirements.
Outside of work he loves to either be playing or watching football.
Jen Venn
Business Support
Jen provides her fantastic customer service part time to our clients.
Her background is in providing local councils with content and copy services, including for Charnwood Borough, North West Leics District and Oadby & Wigston District amongst others.
Outside of work she spends time with her children and makes a fabulous curry!
