Clear User Journey
To understand the optimal user experience we wanted to know more about the daily operations at Charnwood Museum. This included knowing what the majority of people came for and why they would initially get in touch.
We initially found that we could condense all the museums offerings under 4 core call-to-actions: Schools, Visit, Cafe and Hire.
We also understood that most visitors call first to find out the location, opening times and parking details. To ease staff maintenance we aimed to make this information clear and easily accessible from the landing page and navigation across the website.
A feature rich wesbite
Previously only being located on the Charnwood Council website, Charnwood Museum were in dire need to have an improved online presence and website for new visitors.
We created a website that fully utilised our CMS to include events, news and eCommerce that would help the museum better promote their services.
